We're sorry to see you go! If you wish to delete your BrewSide account, please read the information below carefully before proceeding.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

All your personal data, including email and profile information, will be permanently deleted from our servers.

Your Bean Locker inventory, including all stored coffee beans and their details, will be permanently removed.

📖

All Morning Log entries, brew sessions, ratings, and tasting notes will be irreversibly deleted.

⏱️

Any saved brewing recipes and custom preferences will be lost.

⚠️

This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.

Before You Delete

Please consider the following alternatives:

  • Take a break: You can simply stop using the app and return anytime
  • Contact support: If you're experiencing issues, we're here to help at [email protected]
  • Export your data: Before deleting, you can request an export of your brew logs and bean inventory (available in the app settings)

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Open the BrewSide app on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings/Profile
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  5. Tap "Delete My Account Permanently"

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send an email to:

Include the following information:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Your registered email address
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account

We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email once completed.

Data Retention Policy

After account deletion:

  • Personal data is immediately removed from active systems
  • Backup copies are purged within 30 days
  • Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes
  • Legal or compliance records may be retained as required by law
